Marybeth Luber, Chief Executive Officer
Marybeth took the helm of Archetype in early 2007 after joining Archetype in 2004. Prior to Archetype, Marybeth spent six years as an investment banker in New York, London and San Francisco. She now thinks reinventing the apparel supply chain as we are working on here at Archetype is much more interesting. When she manages to take a break from keeping everything humming here, she’s piloting planes, climbing the hills around the Bay Area on her roadbike or cruising down the Tahoe slopes on her snowboard. She grew up on the island of Bermuda and as an avid traveler has yet to find a better beach in the world (32 countries checked at last count). She holds a BA from Colby College and an MBA from University of California Berkeley.
Jeffrey Campbell, Vice President of Engineering
Jeff leads the Engineering team at Archetype, and he’s not too proud to say that he’s happiest when producing high-performing, low-maintenance systems. Like a camel in the desert, Jeff has taken a winding path to Archetype, including living in Germany, teaching freshman composition, writing a Master’s Thesis no one would ever want to read, and spending too much time on a bike, on the road, in a pool, or generally punishing himself in some purportedly constructive way. Along the way Jeff has led the software development for the UNC-Chapel freshman laptop initiative, built online learning applications for multiple non-profits, and most importantly, to us at least, been on the front lines of every major engineering project at Archetype for the past seven years.
